Amount of yarn required:
Jumper: 4 (5) 5 (6) 6 (7) 8 x 50g (100m) balls
Jumper and hat: 5 (6) 6 (7) 8 (8) 9 x 50g (100m) balls
Hat: 1 ball of yarn for first 2 sizes and 2 balls for rest.
Quantities are approx as tension varies between knitters
Needles:
Body knitted flat on straights: 4mm
Body knitted in the round on circulars: 4mm with cord 50/80cm length
Neckband: 4mm circular with short cord or DPNs.
Hat: 3.5mm for knitting head band only
Tension:
22sts and 30 rows to 10cm over stocking st, using 4mm needles
If less sts to the 10cm, try smaller needles, if more sts try bigger needles.
