Amount of yarn required:
Vest: 2 (3) 3 (3) 4 (5) 6  x 50g (100m) balls
Hat: 1 ball of yarn for first 3 sizes and 2 balls for rest

Quantities are approx as tension varies between knitters

Needles:
3.5mm, (3.75mm for first 2 sizes only) and 4mm straight needles

Tension:
22sts and 30 rows to 10cm over stocking st, using 4mm needles
If less sts to the 10cm, try smaller needles, if more sts try bigger needles.
