Amount of yarn required:
Cardigan and hat: 3 (4) 5 (6) 7 (8) x 50g (100m) balls
Hat: 1 ball of yarn for first 2 sizes and 2 balls for rest

Quantities are approx as tension varies between knitters

Needles:
3.5mm needles for hat
3.75 and 4mm straight or circular (with 60/80 cord) needles for cardi

Tension:
22sts and 30 rows to 10cm over stocking st, using 4mm needles
If less sts to the 10cm, try smaller needles, if more sts try bigger needles.
